MY MEDIATION

What Is Mediation?

A Practical Alternative to Court

Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process where a neutral mediator helps people in conflict find common ground. Unlike going to court, mediation is faster, more affordable and less stressful.

It enables you to avoid costly legal battles, reduce delays and tension, and stay in control of the outcome every step of the way. It also offers the opportunity to mend fractured relationships, build bridges and create a foundation to move forward stronger.

My Mediation is a national network of professional accredited mediators dedicated to helping people resolve disputes. All our mediators are members of the Resolution Institute and hold at least Professional Mediator (PRI Med) status, ensuring the highest standards of practice.

My Mediation practitioners have diverse backgrounds across business, government, real estate, healthcare and more, bringing real-world experience and specialist knowledge to every case. This breadth of expertise enables us to carefully match the right mediator to your situation, providing a tailored approach that delivers practical, positive outcomes.

Fast Track Fixed Fee Mediation

Need a Quick Resolution?

Developed in liaison with legal practitioner partners, My Mediation offers a ‘fast track, fixed fee’ service to assist in resolving disputes needing urgent mediation services. This is particularly applicable to Employment Relationship matters that are otherwise in limbo due to delays in accessing MBIE’s free mediation service (which experiences significant backlogs).

Using secure platforms such as Zoom or Teams, we can guarantee a mediation date within seven days of the request for a range of less complex matters.

Fast Track Mediation is suitable for a range of case types and requires assessment to determine suitability. If the issue is assessed as suitable, the service is offered at a fixed daily fee of $1750 plus GST, giving you peace of mind from the start and access to a fast and professional service with accredited practitioners.
